So instead of getting to sleep in and enjoy my morning, I got a phone call from a member of my trip. He was in a different region, but was making schedule changes for tomorrow. Unfortunately, both USAID and the Embassy don't work on Fridays. So I had to be the jerk who called people on their day off. I ended up moving appointments around 3 times with them today, so I can't imagine we're anyone's favorite child at the moment. But I did find this in the hallway.
I ended up eating at Cianno's again for lunch with my coworker's group. Very nice people, and this was an extremely unique opportunity for them. Hopefully they enjoyed their visit.
I think I mostly fretted about things for a while, but eventually told one of my coworkers that I'd go to Eggers with him. He wanted to look for a different holster, and I wanted a dustpan and broom for the room. So this is what I got.
I was sweeping up the Taliban, one by one. Ha ha.
The Army Navy football game is tomorrow, and we've been putting these posters up everywhere that say "Unbeaten" for the last 9 years and so on. Well, tonight I got a picture of my Army boss in front of the poster. Of course, he didn't know it was there, and it went in the shredder immediately after he found it. But it was hilarious!
That's about it for today. I saw Pumpkin tonight so she got some pettin and lovin.
