Things were pretty quiet at work this morning and this afternoon. After lunch, I went into a food coma at my desk, and sort of dozed for a while. I looked around, and other people had their heads down on their desks too. So it wasn't just me.
I was surprised to get 2 packages today too! Paul Farrell sent me a care package, which was awesome. Thanks man. It had fun stuff like Christmas lights, barbecue sauce (more on that soon), and lots of good stuff. I really appreciate it man.
I also got a package from Emili's folks. I really loved getting pictures of the cats. They're actually sitting above my desk on the Terrible Towel. And I have a hot chocolate in the Steeler cup here with me! Very cool. Thank you for all the snacks and victuals. And thank you very much for the Amazon gift card. I think it will be put to goo use! I will miss being with everyone this Christmas, but I'll be home soon.
So when I went to dinner tonight, I took the brand new bottle of barbecue sauce that Paul sent. However, I was a little worried as I opened it and I heard a hiss, like when you open a soda. And then in fact, the sauce just started overflowing like a volcano! I think the seal must have been broken in transit, because it was in the fermentation process. But the powder barbecue looks great, and I can't imagine anything going wrong with that.
Not too much else going on. Pumpkin got a nice big meal of Chicken flavored cat food tonight. It's getting pretty cold, so hopefully that will help her out. She was quite happy to get it, and I've found a very good place to feed her that's out of the way. Well, I think that's it for tonight! Good Night.
